Harrison Pearce
Harrison Pearce (b. 1986, London, where he lives and works) works across painting, sculpture, kinetic installation and sound.
His practice examines the relationship between mutable bodies and the constructed systems they inhabit. Through ambiguous forms, restrained compositions and tensions between organic and industrial materials, Pearce develops visual and material analogies for psychological and bodily states of vulnerability, resilience and transformation.
Pearce received his BA in Fine Art Painting from Winchester School of Art in 2007, MA in Philosophy from the University of London in 2014, and MA from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2016. His work has been shown at galleries and institutions worldwide and has been acquired for private and public collections.
