In collaboration with Danse Danse and TD Bank Group, Arsenal Contemporary Art Montreal invites you to the TD Cultural Tuesday : Bea Box + Cynthia Naggar. With her Bea Box project, Joannie Labelle takes us into her world of electro songs in which her voice carries us gently and deeply, and percussions suddenly explode with joy. In performance at Arsenal Contemporary, she will be accompanied by Cynthia Naggar who will project her video art to the sounds of her programming and sonorities.

ABOUT - BEA BOX
Inspired by art and culture from all around the globe, Bea Box hits our deepest inside zones with a smooth mixture of warm voices and surprising sound textures. Bea Box was created a few years ago when Joannie Labelle came back to Montreal after living in Berlin. To compose has relieved and brought her to this special place inside where there are no barriers. Bea Box is a laboratory where music is created within a deep sense of freedom.

ABOUT - CYNTHIA  NAGGAR
In her practice, Cynthia Naggar mainly uses electronics, video mapping and sound. Versatile, she chooses her medium according to her project. She uses real shots as well as animation that change according to algorithms she programs. Very inspired by cinema and music, she creates stagings, in her installations as much as in her performances. Her approach is oriented towards the human, the solitude and the tangible and disturbing limit between the beauty and the ugliness in our daily life.

ABOUT - TD CULTURAL TUESDAYS
The purpose of the TD Cultural Tuesdays is to bring contemporary visual art into dialogue with other artistic practices. From 6 to 9, these gatherings take the form of events allowing the convergence of different audiences in a friendly atmosphere.
