Station Montréal - En attendant le métro
Mai 2025
End-of-residency presentation | Private event, by invitation only
What if the metro became a place of fiction?
Station Montréal – En attendant le métro is an immersive work where live performance and technology meet on a platform that leads nowhere.
During their residency at Arsenal, Guillaume Blais (PROD. G) and Pascal Lépine (UTOPIC) began shaping a circus piece that follows three characters frozen in a station where the train never comes.
The audience becomes a passenger too. And they wait.
In this suspended space, each stop becomes the scene of a memory, a dream, or a slow descent into the absurd.
Station Montréal explores a humanity that is poetic, humorous, and deeply contemporary, while contributing to a redefinition of the performing arts in the digital age.
The city of Montréal — its stations, its rhythm, its essence — becomes a character in its own right.
About the evening
Program highlights:
– a choreography by Célestin Boutin, principal dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens
– a live exchange with Shah, an artificial intelligence
– the very first presentation of the act Station Beaudry
– the unveiling of a brand-new circus apparatus
– and a series of interventions: unexpected, absurd, deeply human
This isn’t a show. This is no longer a rehearsal.
It’s a moment in transition. A breath held in waiting.
